Twilight 5K Fundraising Contest Winner

It’s been a long time coming, but tonight is the Maine Cancer Foundation’s Twilight 5K and our team of 18 runners, walkers and joggers couldn’t be more excited!

To gear up for the event and do our part not only as a race sponsor, but also as participants, we ran a fundraising contest. The deal was that whoever raised the most money by June 9 at 10 am would have their donation amount matched by the company and win a $100 gift card to the restaurant of their choice. In only 3 short weeks, Erica Berry, our director of content marketing, raised $110 – making her the winner! Congratulations!

We also put out a donation box so all TLP employees could throw in lose change and extra lunch money. It turns out that extra lunch money comes in the form of $20 bills, which adds up fast! Putting those cash donations together with the team fundraiser and TrueLine’s matching donation, our team raised a total of $315.65.
