Erica Berry is the Director of Growth Marketing at Trueline Talent, a specialized contingency recruiting firm connecting employers with professional, senior-level, and executive talent across construction, legal, and accounting and finance. She leads Trueline Talent’s growth marketing efforts, overseeing brand strategy, digital marketing, lead generation, and marketing operations to drive visibility, engagement, and business growth.

Erica joined the company in 2014 as its first marketing hire, when it operated as TrueLine Publishing. Over the past decade, she has played an instrumental role in the company’s evolution from a trade publisher into a national recruiting firm serving more than 200 US markets. Her work has included leading major rebranding initiatives, developing digital platforms, modernizing marketing operations, and building audience-focused strategies that strengthen the company’s visibility and relationships across its core industries.

Her work also draws on the industry relationships established through the company’s trade publications: Blueprint Construction, Vanguard Law, and Equity Magazine. These publications help differentiate Trueline Talent by providing access to established professional networks and candidates beyond traditional job boards.

With a background spanning marketing, communications, digital strategy, and publishing, Erica combines creative storytelling with a practical, results-driven approach to business growth. Beyond marketing, she has been a strong advocate for workplace culture and community engagement, leading internal initiatives and partnerships that contributed to the company earning recognition as one of Maine’s Best Places to Work for multiple consecutive years.

Before joining Trueline Talent, Erica worked with several tech startups in Southern California, operated her own marketing consultancy, and taught English in South Korea. She holds a degree in Mass Communications from the University of Maine, where she also studied Spanish and International Affairs.
