Community Action of Strafford County

The Problem

CAP of Strafford County's mission is to serve the community by clearly sharing information on programs and services. The website was outdated, difficult to navigate and hard to discover which services were offered and to whom. Their fundraising initiatives are dependent on donor support and the website acted as a deterrent to potential donors and volunteers.

The Solution

We created a new, modern website that clearly displays all the services they offer with easy to read descriptions and related photos. It was very important to create a simple website, that could be read in multiple languages. Scheduling fuel appointments, detailing ways to contact each program, and placing ways to donate front and center were all key to the website's successful launch.

The Results

The site was not only a vast improvement in terms of design and functionality from their previous site, it is also ADA compliant. The basic tenet of the site was to serve ALL members of their community, so it was important that those with visual or audio impairments were included as well. After completing the website, the client came back to have us design their 2019 annual report, shared digitally with the community, sponsors and donors.
